Meet the Team
Hi there!
My name is David Hunter and I am the Director and a trainer of Oz Training Solutions Pty. Ltd. As a Registered Training Organisation we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver quality, environmentally sustainable training with a large array of courses on offer. I started my career in the Construction Industry in 1976 as a labourer working on pipelines, pump stations and tanks. I was able to gain fantastic experience working with licensed surveyors which came in useful later in my career.
During the next few years I became a plant operator operating machinery such as dozers, graders, scrapers, loaders just to name a few. I was then given the privilege of assisting in planning and preparing assessments and developing training manuals as well as implementing mine training policies. This is where I found my passion in sharing my experiences and knowledge. I found it incredibly rewarding watching my colleges and students building on themselves and giving them the power to create an exciting future. From this point on I had an idea of what my end goal was going to be and how I was going to get there.
In the following years, I became a Quality Assurance Representative, a Foreman, Trainer, Assessor, Coordinator, Consultant mean while still keeping my hand on skills current with operating machinery in various locations within Australia. I was able to gain an astounding amount of knowledge through each role which acted as building block for my end goal of having my own RTO.
In August 2008, I became the proud Director and a Trainer of Oz Training Solutions Pty. Ltd. and ever since have delivered training all over Australia. We have combined over 40 years of experience with over 20 qualification I have completed to present courses for vast and diverse audiences. I make it my mission that all of my students get as much out of each course as possible to help make them feel confident in implementing/developing their skills and using them in their day to day life.
We have and are still raising awareness of the dangers of Four Wheel Driving and have developed and taught courses in the safe operations of Four Wheel Drives. This has led us to a number of exciting ideas to do with 4WDs that we are eager to share with you all very soon!
